Incredible amount of orchids in situ that you saw on this trip!
Some are so small, you really have to know what you're looking for ....
Is Cameron Highlands (Pahang) a place that is known for its orchid varieties or are all the Malaysian forests very rich in orchids?

Thanks Laurent, actually i took this opportunity to show species insitu to our forum at least they know how they grow in nature. I am looking some species like miniature from tree top monopodial type, I am very lucky managed to get what I want from fallen tree especially from small branches..
Cameron Highland is considered high altitude about 1200 to 1400 meter from see level, to reach there from Kuala Lumpur will take about 3- 4 hours. The atmosphere there day time very pleasant and night time so chilly all over the year. I would say the C.Highland has large varieties of orchids after Mount Kinabalu.
Not all forest in Malaysia has large varieties of orchids only those region which associated with water fall, moderate to high altitude, high humidity and wet area usually will promise us. Like Maxwell hill in Taiping Perak and Mount Jerai Kedah again have large varieties of orchids.
