Here are some pics from this past month. On my land in Massachusetts. Usually I take a bunch more but I'm not sure how much space I have on here. If I can I'll post some from July also later this week. Enjoy
Can anyone ID this flower/plant?
And that it for now
Gorgeous! I love the various fungi! I wonder if any are edible, I recognise the white flowers but cant think what it is, names always escape me LOL
i love the autumn and i miss it here, so pls give me (us) more!
I recognise the white flower but can't think of it's name at the moment.
The coral fungi is cool...saw some on my hike last weekend.
Coral fungi - I wondered what that was called! So cool. Yes, please share more!
Awesome pictures!!! I like the Coral fungi too!!!
Thanks guys...I like the coral fungi myself...its pretty cool stuff...tis the season for some good fungi pics. And the white flower I never really noticed in my woods before but it has a cool shape to it....almost looks like an orchid flower. Ill have to investigate. As for the red flower. It's called Cardinal Flower (Lobelia cardinalis) it grows in moist areas. I've made salves and a tincture with it. Its good internally for bronchial conditions and externally for tense muscles. good stuff
@playtime....I deff need to hook up with someone who knows about edible shrooms. I know of one kind called turkey tail thats medicinal and have made teas with it, but thats the extent of it.
Glad you like....will post more soon
Andrew, will try to remember to check the name of the white one for you when I get home
