it's just a hobby, i think once you go for a hobby to a profetion you lose some of your artistic values since you have to accept to cliet/editor taste.
i'm also inyo interior design and graphic design, soap and candel making.
actually i got into orchid from interior desgin, i love minimelist desgin abd a lot of minimelist itchen design use a phal in thier presentions since for many desginers he has the most beutiful spike that goes with the minimal lines of that sort of design, so i bought a white phal orchid for my kitchen and it started there

Yes , Gidi, way back in 1957 - 1959 when I was a student in the UK and the price of the film was inclusive of the processing price and the paper mounts. I continued using K25 into the sixties when I returned to Malaysia and had to send the film all the way to Australia for processing! Later I used various Ektachrome and Fujichrome with home processing and and finally decided on Fujichrome 50.

Most of my Agfachromes and Ektachromes from my student days have completely faded with time but the Kodakchrome colours are still there, albeit a little less brilliant; and that too after more than half a century! Yes I'm that old! Unfortunately, most of them have been badly affected by fungus - a result of our hot, humid climate. Most of my good slides have been scanned and transferred to CDs but I was told that it was not possible to scan the Kodakchromes - is that true?

By the way, I have been through a few Nikons SLR including the venerable F3 HP. Presently I am using a D70, a present from my sons when it was first introduced.

i googled and saw it can be scaned, also in any photographic book where it says the pic was take with Kodakchrome it means it was scan for printing it on a book.
i use to bodies minolta dynax7 and minolta maxxum 7 which are the same but the 1st is the europian model and the last is the north american model.
    lens: minolta 20mm f/2.8 24mm f/2.0
sigma 21-35mm f/3.5-4.2 (old lens but sharp and rock solid) 70-200mm f/2.8
    tamron 90mm (macro) f/2.8
