    Xama,

    Aechmea recurvata is native to Brasil and in Germany is available in nurseries offering tropical plants.

    They sell those and many more in the big box stores around here. Although I have driven a bit farther south and seen alot of them growing in the trees, so it's not too surprising.

    Pavel, not so big, just 20 cm high and wide. The leaves are long but even recurved.
