Cool Some night bloomers to share

Guess the drop in temps here have set these guys in motion. I did not look at the tags to get the names but did have the photos to share with you anyway. I hope you like them.

This first one was a gift from Cin (Molly Taco) several years ago.

Love the blooms on this one. They do not close up during the day, but do fade away pretty quick.

    Cheers,

The flower in the first and second photos reminds me of Audrey, the plant in the Broadway musical-show-and-movie, "Little Shop of Horrors" although its turned upside down. LOL.

Do I have the same plant? I think mine is called Night Blooming Cereus. It might not be because this one does not need a drop in temperature to bloom. I bring it in the winter, and it blooms outside all summer long.....this picture is four years old. It got way bigger!!

Sorry the photos are not the best quality! But I had them in the computer, so I figured I throw them up here. The second photo is the flower about to bloom.

They are lovely! And the fragrance is wonderful as long as you don't stick your nose right in the bloom.

My hubby runs a chipper machine at work sometimes and they have affectionately named it Audrey!! Couldn't believe that got brought up. Brought a smile to my face.
