Angie, Randy and Al, I'm glad that you like it thanks for your comments.
Yew, I heard many orchids lovers especially in Peninsular Malaysia they already commented, discussed thoroughly in local forum, they claimed many wilds orchids from Gunung Jerai almost extinct due to over collected, I feel so sad after heard that and luckily when I reached there some of them flourishing like no body business at a few locations.

P1 to P4. I found this unique Bulbophyllum species attached firmly on the surface of rock, so far I didn't see any old spikes, maybe it's Cirropetalum specie by looked at the character of Psedobulb, I wondering how the blossom look?

I'm so glad you still found colonies of orchids flourishing there. As I mentioned earlier I've not been there for quite a while but definitely going there after the current wet spell. One of my ex-students is involved in the conservation of the the forest reserve there and has invited me to visit the place . This mountain is so unique with its dipterocarp forests of giant trees on the lower slopes and melaleuca shrubs and trees, typical of the warm temperate forests on the higher slopes. And the varieties of orchids are legendary.Did you find any barbatum ? Even this paph has generated a lot of controversy; some say it is a sub-specie endemic to Gunung Jerai, some say it's callosum and some even say that it's a natural hybrid between the two. What is obvious is that it is quite different from the Penang Hill variety which is considered the typical barbatum.

Ya.. I managed to spot at a few locations of Paph ? callosum or barbatum or maybe sublaeve, well I also noticed some variations especially on the leaves it self those growing on the rock the leaves very small and slender and those growing on the ground the leaves is so broad I also managed to photograph the flowers from different location a couple of years ago. Right now a lots of renovation up there some still in progress , you are right I saw many of the tree, they attached wild orchids soon I will show you, I feel great because conservation of wilds orchids can be seen up there hopefully it will sustain for the future generations..
