I'm not very lucky because the weather up there, just a matter of time heavy rain was followed.Nothing much can be done.

Nice pictures from the peak. The islands are a group of islands called the Songsong group of islands. This is my favourite fishing area famous for tenggeri , the narrow-barred mackerel( king mackerel), big barracudas (the biggest I ever caught here was 20 kg) and huge cobias to 40 kg. Also very good area for sighting of the whale shark with its retinue of cobias.

Interestingly, the island in the foreground looks like a pregnant woman lying on her back and thus is named Pulau Bunting, 'The Pregnant Woman Island'; other islands ( 'pulau' in Malay) around are named Pulau Bidan, 'The Midwife' and Pulau Telur 'The Egg' that was supposed to be the child of the pregnant woman. The waters around here are very popular with divers too. Incidentally my avatar 'The Chimera' is a little piece of coral found on the beach of one of the islands here.

Yew thanks for the info, I wondering what it is in your avatar I thought it's Cauliflowers cabbage and actually is very pretty "Chimera" Do you go again to this Island for another fishing?

On the way down I saw few dendrobium species and clusters of paph, sorry for the quality of photos due to poor light.

In highway North to South jammed very badly due to motor vehicle accident which prevent the smoothness of the journey during heavy rain.Decided to drop in Tapah( Perak) the next morning to find something and took photos for the beautiful waterfall there. I just want to share if you are interested the view just PM to me I can email to you the high resolution photo.
