Last month I went again to the jungle looking for Paphiopadellum barbatum together with my friends and sons took one night sleeping next to the waterfall was very lucky no rainfall at that night. Immediately when were arrived after had a brief lunched we quickly rushed to the nearest jungle begin to explore. I was amazed when look at this liana exactly like serpent bend there and here which is typical for most tropical moist deciduous forests most of them grow vertical, climb up to the canopy to get access of light for their requirement of food synthesis.

It's not an orchid but I never seen the plant carried spike with many black red buds so sad the buds still immature growing at the edge of the huge rock.

Few colonies of Calanthe ceciliae can see small immature spike with multiple buds well this plant is considered hot to cool growing ( night temperature around 22 degree Celsius as I were experienced chilly sensation around 11 midnight) which require less light in their habitats. So many color variations the most beautiful are those having sepals with deep purplish color.

After heavy rains the forest floor already occupied many types of colorful mushrooms which I never seen some of them would like to share with you all, so sorry I'm not really good in describing these fungi fruiting bodies.
