    I grow them. Love 'em, particularly the scent. I had a bunch in CT, but when I moved down here, it was too late to plant (read: it was too late to be able to plant all the bare root stuff, blow open new beds in this terrific clay soil, and unpack and clean all at the same time.

    Default I had them...and will again

    I grew "peacock orchids" (I always called them by their latin name) in CT, and I'll grow them again here. Mine opened nice and wide and had great scent. I grew them in partial shade....wundermous.

    I think I remember a picture of a beautiful bed of them you posted , I have not tried them here . Gin
