as im going back home to city, i took another pic with the soroundings, many have change....

this is the nearest forest we have , think there are still some orchids here but im afraid to go inside because im alone, very dense, its raining and years before a friend of my father died here because of heart attack while picking up some fire woods. His body was recovered rotting and the gut out because monitor lizards ate it.

Wonderful photographic journey for us Jeffrey. Just simply adore epiphyte scapes.!!!Some great specimens! Its a whole little ecosystem that we simply just dont appreciate. Well when I say 'we' not us obviously! Love the teret vanda type orchid that appears to be one single growth for meters and meters on the palm you once planted. Will have a good study of the photographs when more time allows. Thanks

Thanks Matt, the long vanda like orchid is an Arachnis Orchid, it has orange to yellow with dotted pattern inflorescence , no flowers yet coz of the very wet and gloomy weather as i likes full sun.

    Mabuhay!

Wow, i really wanted to have a farm. Just in case you're interested, plant more native (endemic) tree species, that would be spectacular and would greatly help the environment. There's just so much you can do with a big farm like yours. And, yes, you're right not to go in alone in the jungle.

    more pics...thanks

    Godbless
