    Default Interesting Begonias

Yesterday I had a nice trip to the jungle though just about 2 hours plus due to rain I'm very satisfied together with my friend and my guess Peter (harvey) from German.Peter is very expert in Begonias with the help of my friend Mr Naza from Seremban we managed to reach only one spot where this beautiful species are growing on vertical surface of the rock.Though I can see a lots of wild orchids hanging on the tree I just ignored it because the weather is not on my side. Here few photos for me to share with you all after I get consent from Peter with interesting experience.
P1 Peter examine closely the Begonias species ( sorry cant remember the scientific name)
P2 Some explanation and very informative on this species.
P3 Take an opportunity to photograph Mr Naza and Peter in front of this valuable species.
    P4 Myself and Peter.

Nice photos, Zain! The leaf of that begonia is quite lovely with the dark veins against the light green background.

Love this post. I grow begonias under lights, covered for high humidity. What a special treat to see this thread, Zain.
This is a beautiful and which looks to be rhizomatous begonia. I'm guessing on this and looking at my book on begonia species and it might be b. balansana.
    What a great adventure!

Thanks Cathy you are right I can see the rhizome though very small but their presentation are so cool in the nature, Peter did told me I cant remember the scientific name he also found the same species in Langkawi Kedah according to him got some variation in the leaves. Let him comment later. Zain
