I have never displyed this here though I've had this plant for at least six years. It's a big guy now with blooms up to six inches and lots of them. Easy care. Hope you like! AL

Reminds me of my childhood...we had those, and I thought they were sooo cool!
I could certainly see where a kid would be fascinated by these playful, fascinating flowers Kathi. AL
Don't think I'd agree with you there, Al. Got my mom one of these ages ago when we lived in Hawaii. There it was easy. However, after moving to MI got her a new one (couldn't bring any plants with us when we moved back). It died in record time. My guess is they desire quite a bit of humidity -- and that is something that indoors in the north is not likely to happen. Pity ... such a neat looking plant.
You know it's been in that greenhouse so long your probably right. Though watering and fertilizing seem simple enough and I know from experience that they can tolerate certain insect pests. AL
Very cool looking plant!

Al, yours are indeed beautiful growing in the greenhouse. They grow very well here in our outdoor garden in the direct sunlight.
