Beautiful roses. The NOID plant is Aglaonema costatum. I don't know the common name for it but we usually refer to it as the Spotted Leaf Aglaonema/

I believe the common name for the Aglaonema costatum is "Pink Splash". (Or at least that is what we call it here.) It grows like a weed.

    cheers,

An Agloenema for sure, but like orchids, there are so many similar species and hybrid cultivars I wouldn't depend on any positive identification that didn't come with the plant.

Thanks to all for the suggested name, the first plant I got from somewhere over ten years ago and it multiplied to where I have five plants of it, two are in plastic pots and three are just struggling in concrete pots and look nothing like this one, the leaves are getting brown patches like something is nibbling it and I have put pesticide on them but I think I will get plastic pots to put them into and see if that will make a difference, I am wondering if the concrete pots have something in the pot that is not agreeing with them. thanks again

Bruce, Pink Spash is a Hypoestes not a Aglaonema

Brenda, some cements are high in alkaline which can damage plants but can be sealed prior to planting in them

Fortunately, I work with several of these. It looks like it is of the Osaka Aglaonema.
