Default Orchids and Flowers from the flower market

I went to our Flower Market today - which is always a dangerous thing for me to do... I came back with one or two orchids ...

As ever, they didn't have any IDs so if anyone can help with that, I would appreciate it!

... and, er, a few more...

This is a very strange looking one - any idea what it is? [post note - I discovered it's called a peloric phalaenopsis; I suspect that it's not too popular because they gave it to me free!]

And since it was the flower market...

Lucky you. First one is dendrobium from section spatulata could be a hybrid. 2nd one looks like a epidendrum. epidendrum floribundum may be. Last two are oncidiums sharing phot of the pseudobulbs would help.

Interesting buys. You buy like me now. If it looks unusual, then I'm interested.

Some like peloric, some don't. Personally, I find them strangely attractive.

Thanks! That's very helpful... I am wondering if the 2nd one is the same as this. Looks very close to me... I think the 3rd and 4th are tolumnias. Having done some research, I think the 6th one is a phalaenopsis fasciata?

Thanks, yes, I think you are right about the phal, it's not a fasciata as I thought...

I can't help with the orchid IDs, but the flowers are definitely Gerbera Daisies and Lotus.

Thanks - I should've been clearer, I was really looking for IDs for the orchids. Yes, the cut flowers are Gerberas and the purple ones I think might be water lilies rather than lotus. I found this website comparing the 2 helpful... waiting for them to open to be absolutely sure!

Sriram, here is a photo showing the whole of the plants which are either oncidiums or tolumnias. The leaves are sort of V-shaped/triangular in cross section and quite fleshy...

Certainly looks like a tolumnia. but usually they don't have fleshy leaves and very small pseudobulbs so could be an intergeneric hybrid.
