    Red face Another Tillasanda Question

I have a tillasanda who's spike has lost its red color and has now turned green. Does anyone know why? Its mounted on a volcanic rock which I keep in water (just so the rock is wet, not the plant).

    Any help would be appreciated.

Nanci, what kind of Tillandsia do you have? Is it T cyanea? If it is, the reason why its turning green is that its blooming season is over. No bloom appeared? Maybe the bloom blasted before they could come out of the sheath. It happen to my cyanea also due to drastic changes in weather.

    Can you post a pic?

Change in light could be a very possible reason. If it suddenly recieved less light than usual, I have had some that start iniating growth instead of flowering. cyanea does get green afterwards doesnt it? I have a xerographica blooming right now! Gorgeous chartruese inflourecense!
