Just lovely. Makes me wish I could afford a house with a real yard... The newest development in my area (about 9 miles from my place) has just opened a waiting list ("Prices Starting at just 1.9 Million!!!) The ads actually say that....

Diane,
I know what you mean. Real estate in California is unreal! My sister-in-law just bought a house close to San Francisco for over 1 mil
I don't think I could endure this kind of a stress. Anyway, I love my garden and because we have big deer population (one time I counted 19 of them on our field!), most of my plants are "deer resistant". My mom calls it the herb garden (and I hope she means it as a compliment).

I Love your garden that is the one thing that I miss about MD we had dirt in which to plant our gardens down here we have sand and fertilizer but you find things that like it and that grow 12 mos out of the year. That is a big perk.

Beautiful garden Ania! I love all those colours! Even the dragon is cute in it!
As for the cyp acaule.... seeing these pictures sends me to heaven! This is definitely my favourite of all the Cyps! I just can't get over that pink puch!

Nice garden, Ania!
How long ago did you snap the Cyp photo? I was just up in NH and their Cyps are long past.

Julie,
I took the picture on June 19th and it was one of the last ones. I also know a place where the yellow lady slippers grow, but they were in flower early May and I didn't have my camera with me. Next year...
