Default Tacca plantaginea (Mini Bat Plant)

So I've had this one since November and this is its first bloom!! Woo-hoo!
I'm growing it in a 55 gallon vivarium under 40watt flourescents, regular misting schedule, and high humidity. Fertilizer includes frog poo, and dead frog food(fruit flies, crickets, etccc).
Its not fully opened, but when it does, its supposed to look like a bat face. Definetly the strangest plant I've ever had/or seen.

Interesting, but what do you expect from Frog Poo and dehydrated fruit flies. I am looking forward to seeing the mature bloom.

    Cin has a good point...

Now just feed it the gonads of a red-bellied newt and you'll be all set!

lol. No I don't collect the stuff. It just ends up there. I keep frogs in the same enclosure where the plant is.
