I can concur with both views on squirrels. They are so cute! And I love to watch them in other peoples' yards. My neighbor puts out peanuts to feed them; we have to harvest the yard! They really bug me when thet get destructive to our orchids, and most recently, to my coco fiber baskets. Seems they needed nesting material for the babies *Sigh*. White pepper seemed to help, but not enough. Try again next year. Anybody got any remedies?

    Happy Autumn!

Yes! Buy some of the hot hot hot chili oil in the asian foods section of the supermarket and put it on the pots, baskets and plants. It wont hurt them and the squirrels don't like it at all - - they can 'taste' hot.

Be careful - it will attract the Thai squirrels!

LOL! I think these squirrels are part Flaminco dancers too. And they like to practice on my roof - all fourteen thousand at once!

Will try the chili oil, thanks, Diane. Do you dilute it or use it straight? I'll probably forget to wash my hands and scratch somewhere.....

Cin! Molly Taco is upside down! She's so cute in that pose! Or did you catch her alseep and sliding slowly off the sofa hehehehe?
    Enjoying life,
