    Yes, it was closing up by 7 am. It was really cloudy yesterday with a bit of rain and I think that made it start opening a little early? The bloom tip was open by 730 or so, and it was fully open by 10pm. And you could smell the heavenly fragrance of the single bloom all over the yard. It was awesome!

    BD - you're welcome! You still have them in water?? Cool!!!! Sorry about the mix up in what i sent heheh, one stick looks like another does it not? By next summer they should be big enough to prune and get more sticks if you like.

    Yes, I just never got them stuck in earth and they look so pretty in my window. They also give my bird, Murphy, some shade during the hot part of the day.

    Wow, that's a great story and a wonderful bloom. Nice job on the preservation too. I wonder how it would work if it were freeze dried - that is the only thing that seems to preserve the form and color of mushrooms to any degree.
