I have only seen the black one. I *believe* someone posted it here on the forum somewhere. It was spectacular if memory serves. I would love to see a red one!

    Cheers,

There is a red one for sale on an auction site but I think it is sketchy...zero feedback, in Bangkok....I'm talking to the seller now via e-mail. Luckily I lived in Thailand long enough to ask the right questions.

Take a look at this link. I suppose that this could be called a red bat plant, although the description is for the general group of bat plants. I am sure that there are lighter and darker versions...

I posted a picture of the black one back in September when I saw one at an orchid show...may be this is the one you mean, BD?

Well, I'm the kind of idiot to throw some money at a crazy thing like this in the slim chance it works out. I'll be getting 1 Red, 1 White, and 2 Black tacca.
We'll see how they survive being shipped from Bangkok. I set my expectations very low so chance of disappointment is very small.

This is an old post, but did you ever get a red Tacca?
