This one is a breeze and delicious.
1 lb spareribs (have butcher cut them into thirds)
1 Tbl sherry
2 Tbl sugar
3 Tbl vinegar
4 Tbl soy sauce
5 Tbl water
Mix the ingredients into a pot and bring to simmer, cover and allow to cook about 45 minutes. Remove cover and bring heat to high. While stirring constantly reduce liquid until it just starts to carmelize. Serve immediately.
No additional water? Just the 5 table spoons? Does it burn easily? I think I can actually make this one! Hehehehee
Just these ingredients but if I am making a larger batch, I may double or more the recipe. You need to be careful at the end reducing it for if you let it go too long, it is easy to burn.
