My hyacinths are out of bloom for about a month now...However the image of their first growth poking out of the snow is vaguely familiar. This pic was in February, you can see the hyacinths and my pampered angora cat (Sousel) who wanted to go out and chew on the lawn, but he discovered that there was no lawn any more...just the white stuff so he did a u turn and waited patiently for the crack on the door to get bigger.
Gosh, how many months of winter do you get?

It is already April and still we get frequent cold blasts from out of nowhere.
But still, it looks like our plants are determined to grow on schedule despite the weather.

The two cherry trees. These are about 3 years old.

Tulip Row... or whats left of it. We have been harvesting flowers since 4 weeks ago and new flowers still pop up almost every day.

My wife wanted roses, so we planted some along this side of the lot. Some of the young stumps are already blooming.

Some interesting wild flowers growing on our lot.

You have lots of color, John. I bet we will soon too!

Yup, we get to enjoy the color from March through May. Then it all goes downhill from there as we transition into Venus climate in summer lol.

Boy, some of you are just rubbing it in -- all that sunshine, blue sky AND blooming flowers. Sheesh. Come on spring . . .

And just to rub it in more! I took this one in the rain this morning. The bank in front of Burton Agnes Hall was planted with Daffs to commemorate people who had died of cancer.

And this one was taken in my own garden yesterday
