I hope that you are safe and well. That is such a tragedy for all involved

That is horrible. I hope you and yours are all safe.
Cheers,

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

The little town where I live in central Iowa, has had problems with flooding in the past. The city actually bought and moved a half dozen houses that were in the lowest area near our creek. I know of only one house that was surrounded on two sides with this years flooding. That, and water in the basements for some others. I had a trickle of rain water running from my outside basement entrance over to my sump pump, so nothing major. My birds like to play in water when they get a chance. At the moment, I have them all caged at least 2 feet up off the floor as I would prefer to know what is in the water they are playing in.

Yes, that sounds safe. I am sure there are lots of things they don't need in the flood water.
Cheers,
BD
