    No, not a horse to be seen. Had sheep and cattle. Paddock is what we called a fenced are of land on a country property. Or the drive from Adelaide to Perth, the Nullarbor Plain, across the paddock. If you look on a map of Aust' you will see how far it is and dead flat.
