I had this fun idea this morning that we should all post pictures of our snow!! We got a decent amount of snow here in Chicago this week...but I've heard its even more out in the northwest suburbs where my parents live. I don't think this photo does it justice, but I took this around 7:45am this morning as I was getting ready for work....I'm just glad my boots are tall, because there are some snow mounds out there!! Sorry you can't see the chicago skyline, it was still snowing this morning...but its out there somewhere!!
I invite everyone to post pictures of their snow, we'd all love to see it!!
Just saw your post now, wow amazing panoramic view you've got there!
It's dark out now but tomorrow I can take a picture of the NYC gray slush that I am sure you are missing! (not!)
If there's anything left on the sidewalks ...
Heck yeah, bring it on!!! Seriously though, some of us live in major snow country...like MTequine in CO, Ron in upstate NYC...who's got some snow pictures?!?
It was 61 degrees here today. No snow in our forecast or I would post. We had ice three days ago, but that is all melted now.
I'm not sure what we'll get. Some reports were 4-6" some were 6-10". I don't need to go out this weekend (I haven't been feeling well anyway, so this is the excuse I need to cancel the couple of things I had), so it's a pretty view and no inconvenience.
Parts of NH are still reeling from last week's ice storm, however. Some communitites are still without power after 1 week, and my friend's daughter isn't expected to get it restored until Jan 1!
It's a howling blizzard at the moment. We're getting about 1" per hour right now.
I took a snow day today- we got something over 4 inches on top of a quarter inch of ice. I'll have to take some photos tomorrow.
From my window ...
Nice pic, Lambert!
Heres a couple from my apt
Well, the shoveling is finished for now, probably more tomorrow as we are getting snow showers off and on today. Hers is the view from my front door, and the bird feeding station outside my south bow window. (yes, we shovel that, too, so the birds can find seed scattered on the snowpack).
