Default Spring blooms and more snapdragons

I have citrus in bloom...a tomato plant in bloom....and more snapdragons. Hope you all enjoy the spring flowers down here....although the bees weren't any too happy with me snapping pics of them. Good thing I know how to do "statue" really well...

First a pic of my baby Tangerine trees first real blooming. There are tiny tangerines developing already. They are so tiny though, it's hard to get a clear picture of them.

The next 3 pics are of the Lemon tree. It is literally covered with blooms everywhere. You can see tiny little lemons also...the smell fills the air out back. It is wonderful to walk out there and let the air into the house from the back yard.

...since I have several pics this will take a few more posts....

I found a nice tomato plant back in January, now we have tomatoes getting ripe and the entire plant is covered with pretty yellow flowers. I don't know why you don't see pictures of them, I think they are very pretty little yellow things.

Then again there is something to be said for a few Amaryllis that can be seen from the road....

And, Thank You Tami....got the cuttings for the hibiscus!! I found some nice pretty pots for them and some special dirt for bushes. I hope they'll be in bloom next year nice and pretty so I can share the lovely hibiscus flowers with everyone. One is red and the other is a double peach....

And lastly; with the heat arriving I have new growths on nearly everything. It's amazing how fast these grow when the warmth arrives!

I can't wait until the "Northern" areas start posting the tulips and paperwhites! They won't grow here and I miss them....in the meantime I hope these will help keep you all smiling until your yards are green and the warmth of summer is upon you.

Everything looks so good, Connie. Tami sent me the same two hibiscus cuttings and I rooted them (even bloomed them ) in the vase, but when I planted them, they both died. I was so down about it. I usually can grow tropicals, but I guess it was too much of a shock from the water vase to the potting soil. I am glad they both bloomed for me in the vase though. You will love the blooms. Good luck with yours.

    Cheers,
    BD

Hmm...maybe lots of water at first then? I'm glad you told me. If they start looking badly I'll rush them to my friend who is an absolute wizard when it comes to getting things to root and grow.

Cj, If you root them in damp soil, they will do fine. It was the move FROM water to soil that did in BD's hibiscus.

Lovely photos Connie! That orange snapdragon is beautiful!!! I'm excited about your citrus trees - I always purchase orange blossom oil when I'm down there because I just can't get enough of that scent How cool that you will have citrus from your own trees!! For the 1900th time, I'm moving to FL!!!

    Nice photos, Connie!

Out of curiosity, do your citrus trees get hit with whitefly or mealies?
