    Default Sohoton Cave National Park

After Cuatro Islas, we travelled to the adjoining big island of Samar, to Basey town, where the Sohoton Caves National Park is located. The caves complex is an ancient burial site, and is reached by boat upstream of the Cadacan River. This is a 1 1/2 hour travel by outrigger boat.
There are other caves within the park, but the main complex is the only open area.
After the caves, we dropped by the Rawis dock and travelled by habalhabal through 3 kilometers of rough road to Balantak Falls.

    Another wonderful travelogue.

How'd you get such great photos inside a cave?

Thank you again for sharing your travels with us. I'm enjoying the trip.

    Thank you, Anne.

The photos were taken with the camera (Canon EOS400D) built-in flash only.

Absolutely stunning, I love looking at caves but I am scared of going into them so your photos make me smile and your descriptions made me chuckle. The falls is stunning also. thank you for taking us along on your trip with you.

Those shots are awesome, Nelson. I appreciate you taking the time to share them. That waterfall must be something to see in person. Thanks.

    Cheers,
    BD

I have not seen a waterfall that tall before. Along the road to Baguio, there are tiny falls, and they hardly count.

Best of all, it was a sunny day, and there was no one else aside from a friend and myself.
