Hi, Tami. We just drove thru and I lvoed it. We did stop quite a few times to walk, but after the gater my husband didn't let me leave the car anymore. It was fun! I loved it! We were so lucky he wasn't interested in my husband...LOL On top of that my hubby went to wash his hands in the water... What a luck!!!
Too bad here in the Philippines hiking generally means climbing mountains, and my body just isn't up to it; the years have taken their toll.
I have always wanted a trek up the crater lake of Mt. Pinatubo, though. One day I will do it.
When I went to Wakulla Springs National Park, the people there told us that gators feet at night (nocturnal). Hence there were alligators basking in the sun about 50 meters from the swimming hole.
