Brown Widow Spider ... oh my!

    Exclamation Brown Widow Spider ... oh my!

    Yes...this is a Brown Widow Spider and she is quite something. A coworker caught this lil' lady for me...knowing I would want to photograph it. I couldn't get the most exciting shots cause I had to be careful and keep her in a glass mug.







    I don't know if this is some sort of defensive position:

    She almost succeeded in getting out a few times...see how I put my life on the line to get these photos to you guys...




    Even though she is poisonous I couldn't bring myself to kill her...so I let her go in a woodsy location.

    I don't mind pics of spiders...I think they are cool looking. Just as long as they aren't IN my house we are cool! Great job getting this ones pics...and I love that you didnt' kill it. You remind me of "Ruthless People"...old movie.
