I took these pics last fall. I haven't had much chance to get out lately. They are a couple of beech leaves and turkeytail fungus.

Very beautiful. We don't get much fall color on the coast. Lots of pines and live oaks. The pines are, of course, evergreen and the live oaks shed their leaves in spring when the new ones come on. The up-side is that winters are pretty mild. Still, I'm envious of your fall color.

Clint, while I could be wrong, the golden/chartreuse growths on the apple branch appear to be lichen.
    Nice pics, Steve & Ruxandra!

Thanks Pavel, Ruxandra and Steve, your pictures are really nice. I haven't got pics for last fall unfortunately, but we usually have some beautiful colors here too.
Very nice woodland shot Andrew, love it.

Thank you all for the autumn colours - wish I was there to experience it first-hand.Now that winter is near what about the winter landscape? Bet that really would be something! Does bring back memories of my college days in Staffordshire and those visits to the Lake District. When spring comes would someone pleeeease post some pics of the Lake District?

Ruxandra, I missed your photos yesterday. They are beautiful! I love the shot of the grapes especially! And Andrew, the shot of the trail is outstanding too. We have some amazing photographers here. Nice going!

    Cheers,
    BD
