thanks for sharing the autumn colours

In Alberta, Canada it snowed before the leaves turned colours. So the majority are frozen green

Default not a real fall... but

here are a couple shots of my most recent production. The tree and limb appear real, but they are made in the scene shop. We glued all of those leaves onto a limb (tree) and a smaller limb from a tree that fell during a storm earlier in the year. The leaves are real oak tree leaves that were preserved with some type of chemical last fall. We cut them off of little branches used to decorate the 'home' or other fall decoration. heheh.. Many hot glue burns later this is what we got. For reference the 'sky' is a painting that is 24 feet wide and 12 feet tall. The 'tree' is 18 feet tall and the limb over the set is 15 feet long x 9 feet wide. This is the set for SOCCER MOMS. I will include a couple of shots of the action too. I designed the set, lights, costumes, and sound for the production. We take the show on the road next month. (Maybe by then we will actually have some fall color around here too.)

    Cheers,
    BD

I love Maples and Oak trees, either real, or glued on fallen limb.... they give a spectacular display in Autumn.
Congratulations Bruce, what an amazing job you did on that tree; thanks for sharing, and it's nice to see your creative side. Hope your show is a success.
    Cheers
