Sorry you guys are having trouble. I have a friend in Charlottesville, VA who also has tons of snow. We are just getting wind and cold here. Stay warm.

Cheers,
BD

I managed to crash my car during the big storm we had this past week. Fortunately, I can "borrow" my dad's car untill I save a bit more for the new-used car of my choice.
We had 16 inches then, and about 1 to 11/2 inches today.

My sister's family in Virginia got about a foot and a half. She loved the backdrop to her Christmas tree in front of a wall of windows but would be happy if it went away the next day. Her three very young grandchildren didn't know what to make of it.

Wow...I was born and raised in Florida and currently live on the Gulf Coast in Alabama. I can't imagine dealing with snow like that.

When I retire I'm going to tie a snow shovel to the top of my car and head south. When someone asks me "What's that?" I'll stop.

That's what I said...only the husband wouldn't let me actually tie it to the back of the U-Haul when we came to Florida. I was bummed, I wanted to paint "Florida or bust" on the shovel. lol Ah well... That picture made me remember why we moved to the "sunshine state".
