Despite the "whining" (LOL!) of some of our members, there is so beauty to be found in winter. Some of the following pics are less than stellar but I chalk that up to my camera's limitations and the fact that some of the pics were shot from inside my parents' house.
A neighbor's house:
A pic of a winter sky
a winter sun
The rest of the pictures were taken around my parents' home

Great shots, Paul! It looks very cold there. We got a little dusting of snow on Dec. 25, but that was it. Still clear here, but cold none-the-less. Thanks for starting this thread. I look forward to all the photos the members here will share.
Cheers,

Pavel,
I like the winter too. Then I get the bill for heating my greenhouse.
Happy New Year.
I love the bird pictures, especially the first woodpecker one.
Beautiful photos Pavel. Love to see winter photos.
These are a couple of shots of the raptor feeding station in Wales. These were taken in Feb 2009. You may be able to pick out a few hawks and kites in amongst the crows. Love the Cardinal shot Paul !
Love all the pics. The ones of Wales makes me want to visit there more than ever. Wales is very high on my travel-to list.
