Hi everyone. I just came back from forest to the guesthouse and tomorrow I will come back home. It is a nice trip but quite hard to me this time (can be that I get older....hehe). I took not a lot of photo but I think I shoot enough Paphiopedilum henryanum blooming to show you. Lucky that all of Pap I saw last two year still there.
I will share photo later... I'm sorry.

We love the neat kit layout, very good camera with extra lenses, spare batteries (we presume) Swiss Army knife,Field glasses, sunglasses, decent charging equipment, good laptop, camouflage clothing, good time piece, possibly a compass, extra memory cards and a good back pack to stow everything-what no sample containers?! LOL
It looks like you have done this before, maybe once or twice- very good preparation.. good luck, we wish we could be there!

Sounds as though you may be back already- we like Phaphiopedilum- well my husband does! It's good to know you can go back into the forest and find plants you have seen before, the same ones I mean- wonderful! We await the pictures with bated breath....

Sorry for this late post- I am Bungarayas husband- I have only just discovered these older pictures and they are wonderful! My wife is asleep at the moment but I can't wait to show her your pictures- especially the lady working in the Paddie field- my wife also worked in the rice fields in Malaysia, near Malacca, when she was just 12 years old- she always tells me she loved that time of her life, but she didn't like the Leeches! One day we will come to your country to see all those beautiful sights for ourselves.
This forum and all it's wonderful members should be declared a World Heritage forum! Long live orchid keeping! Your pictures enhance our lives enormously Many thanks. J.E.

@ Bungaraya: Thank you for your nice article, I love to go to forest and I equipped for myself all best equipments. I used stay overnight in the forest so I also have all equipment to support stay overnight too.
@mujacko: This paph growing on the rocks and basically on the cliff. Some place have mosses but some not (even very dry).
This areas I went yesterday have some pap species: Paphiopedilum malipoense, Paphiopedilum hirsutissimum, Paphiopedilum henryanum, Paphiopedilum hangianum.

At this time of the year I look forward to pictures of Paph henyanum in situ. This area must be part of paph heaven with all those different paph species around. Hope this place will be preserved forever!! Thanks Canh for sharing/
