Great photos! I wonder how long Vandas live in the wild. They seem to have very few roots. I love that tree with the light grey / dark grey bark and the silver/ green foliage. I was in Quintana Roo in Mexico, I went to the jungle and I saw some orchids there in teh wild. I was surprised by how many trees and branches fall in the thick of the jungle and sometimes how dark it is. I saw many Oncidium cebolletas, Myrpecophila species, Brassavola nodosas, Oceoclades and more. But there is flat and relatively dry but with sinkholes and caves that create more humid and cooler microclimates. Do you see any banyan figs in Vietmam on the mountains? I love those too, I wonder which ones are local there. Great informative photos! great tones. DO you get them out like that from the camera or do you do some adjustments?
