Great photos! I wonder how long Vandas live in the wild. They seem to have very few roots. I love that tree with the light grey / dark grey bark and the silver/ green foliage. I was in Quintana Roo in Mexico, I went to the jungle and I saw some orchids there in teh wild. I was surprised by how many trees and branches fall in the thick of the jungle and sometimes how dark it is. I saw many Oncidium cebolletas, Myrpecophila species, Brassavola nodosas, Oceoclades and more. But there is flat and relatively dry but with sinkholes and caves that create more humid and cooler microclimates. Do you see any banyan figs in Vietmam on the mountains? I love those too, I wonder which ones are local there. Great informative photos! great tones. DO you get them out like that from the camera or do you do some adjustments?

@stefpix: Yes in Vietnam we have many banyan figs in mountainous area (and some really big in the forest, I have some photo but I don't have it here right now).
All photo I have to re-sized before I post it.

I meant if you lightened or darkened, did something with contrast and so on. They seem pretty spot on with the exposure. I grow Ficus benghalensis and F. religiosa from seed and I have sowed Mexican figs F. pertusa and F. cotinifolia.

Also I was wondering if the orchids you see they grow only on specific trees or they can grow and adapt to different kinds of trees and bark.

here are some photos from Mexico, but I had no time to finish editing those that i took in the thick of the jungle.

Normally I just download photo from my camera and used a program called Turbo photo to re-sized it and frame it (automatically). All contrast etc...I set it in my camera.

Some orchid species I saw just grow on specific trees and most of them are adapt to all kinds.
