    Default Oriole ... Twiddle

I found Twiddle last year she had fallen out a very tall oak tree no way to get her back in the nest , She did not have any feathers was tiny little thing . I handfed her, when she could fly I put her on the screen porch , she would twiddle the plants on the porch that is how she got her name . I started putting her in a cage outside then let her out she would come back when I called to her then one day she was gone the same day the Robins left . Here is a picture of her , some of you may of seen it already . Gin

Awwww...how cute ! Doesn't it give you a good feeling to know you helped them out ?
I had an abandoned nest of bluebirds I handraised and released....has to be the most interesting thing I have ever done with nature. I may try and dig up the photos ....it has been a few years ago.

I would love to see the pictures , they are so sweet , I hated to let her go but it was the best for her, it was almost migration time . The neighbors probably think I have lost it looking for her to come back ....but doubt it . Do you have any pet birds ? Gin
