Bearded Dragons make wonderful pets. You can get her a small cat or reptile halter and keep her on a leash if you want to take her outside and let her bask a little. That is quite a score you made...

What an amazing gift. I can only think of one thing else that was equal such a gift. An orchid perhaps?! Not sure what you ve researched since last post. Kept beardies for a long time and treat them as family and pretty sure your is a male. Very noticeable chracteristics from the photo. If you let him loose ( even on a leash) they can pick up quite a speed in seconds and a leash would injure him so be careful of his personality. Took mine out once and a bird flying over alarmed him. Never seen anything in nature so fast. Almost lost my mate. Just like a dog they reflect the care theyve recieved. 99% of time very friendly and interactive. have you seen him blacken his beard or puff out his throat or yawn, so cute.
