    Yew, please take care of yourself and family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. It is good that your home was on top of high ground. I hope soon the waters clear and people can get back to their homes too.

    Thanks everyone for your well wishes. Thankfully the floods in the town has gone down although there are still 15,000 evacuees in the outlying areas. I went around the areas where the floods have subsided and the job of cleaning up is now going on. Heaps of destroyed household items, furniture, electrical appliances and rubbish piling up outside the houses. Will take at least a week or two to clean up.However the floods has reached our state capital and electricity and water supply have been cut there. All the petrol pumps here are dry because the fuel tankers are still not able to come through. Of food supply is low but we hope in a day or two the supply will resume.
