Default Our little balls of skin and fur...

These are the dogs i wish we had the opportunity to get as puppies!

Tigger is the youngest, he is only 3 years or 3 1/2 years now. He is an American Sharpei and is known as a Horsecoat because of his brittle, prickly (and irritating!) coat.

Pepper is the oldest, she is almost 11 (Sharpeis typically have a lifespan of around 10-12 years). Pepper is an Australian Sharpei, and she is a brushcoat because of her medium length fur. Too bad Pepper is not very good for taking pictures of! I caught Tigger during his early bed time!

You didn't have them as puppies, but do they live with you now?

Hey Jordan, did either of your dogs have issues with their eye-lids or with their skin? My Shar Pei cross had Entropion and we had to have surgery to remove the extra lid skin. Poor guy was tearing constantly and eyes were very sensitive. Fortunately so far he has not had any skin issues except the regular allergy scratching at times.

Sweet! I've seen them in the puppy stage - they are a riot, it's like they have all their grown up skin and they have to grow into it. - martha
