Poor Phal - how far people go to sell something

    You think the blue is bad? You should see the green, red, purple and orange ones. Absolutely frightening but people are buying them.

    Those people who would buy them probably cannot get them bloom for next season anyway. So they won't know it is a "WHITE PHAL".

    The one I saw at the local nursery was spray painted.

    The only good thing about this (if it is indeed a good thing) is that when the orchid reblooms next time, it will go back to normal. The die will have left the plant.

    Wheever I see someone with one of these in their shopping cart I tell them it's injected with dye, and the color will not last. I also add that the dye injections aren't healthy and the plant might die. Needless to say, they put them back.

    Yes they are and the leaves have a bluish tinge too

    Those professional they wont buy but those who don't have knowledge about this will simply buy it because of the color and weird looking.
