    Wolf,

Obviously a southerner driving the car with THAT bumper sticker! LOL Gotta admit I never thought *anyone* would consider eating alligator. Imagine my shock when I discovered I liked it!
I spent a night in Key West a couple of years ago and the danged roosters crowed all night long. What gives? Thought they were supposed to crow at dawn! (2:00 A.M. in the Florida Keys isn't dawn!)

    Gin,

No, I don't have a pet bird. (I did have budgies when I was a kid--does that qualify?) And, I totally agree birds & plants are a natural combo!

    Cheers,

    Rob

That's why I hate live chickens. They are everywhere here making a mess kids chase them into the street and don't look. they ruin your landscaping looking for bugs to eat. About the only good thing they do is eat Skorpians which are just wrong. . . Wrong I tell you.

I like raspberries... I like them in chocolate, and in liqours. Going to check the chambord now... :good:

And actually no :freaked:instant tatters and instant grits are the greatest sins ever invented according to true Southern Chefs. I make my own mashed tatters. With sour cream and half/half. YUM!!!!

BTW do Grackles taste anything like cracklins?
