Default the play I'm directing is going to festival

I haven't shared here much about my work at the university in a while, but thought I would share a few photos from my current production, DEATHTRAP. We take this show to the AR state Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival this week. I have been spending some late nights over the last few weeks in technical rehearsals and performances. Anyway, here are a few shots of the show. I directed the production and designed the scenery. The costumes, lights, props, sound, graphics, etc... are all done by my students. And, the most amazing thing is that this set breaks down to fit into a truck to move... lol (not an easy feat, but we do it in just under 2 hours).

It sounds like you've put in a tremendous amount of work. Good luck with the show.

I can't imagine that coming apart and going into a truck in two hours! My high school had a professional company come in every fall to put on our "Christmas" play. We were split up into, wardrobe, make-up, set design and of course the actors. I worked with wardrobe and make-up and enjoyed it greatly. I really do understand how involved it all is...and that's why I cannot imagine that large of a set coming down that fast. lol Thanks for the pictures...you brought back some very fond memories.

Amazing set Bruce. As good if not better than what I remember from the movie which starred Christopher Reeves and Michael Caine way back in 1980? I am sure your students put on a very dramatic performance. Enjoy the road trip and knock em dead. AL

Great photos, great set. I can't imagine how you can dismantle that set in 2 hours. Amazing feat!!!! Wishing you and your students every success with the production.
