    Default New Cats

One of my very good friends, Pam died a few months ago after battling cancer. She love Siamese cats and had bought two from a breeder I knew. Her husband contacted me and asked me if I would take them both. I did...much to Jack the Manx's objections.
They are still hiding somewhat. They are 1/2 brother and sister. The male Zeus, is starting to visit everywhere in the house. He and Jack have gotten to where they can lay within arms distance but they aren't buddies as of yet.

This is Zeus with a little encouragement from some catnip

Nice that you could take her cats into your family. Hope everyone settles in together and can become pals soon.

I've always had the very typey, type with the wedged head. These are new to me. The breeder, breeds and shows both the apple and wedge.

A few friends here know but I haven't mentioned on the form that my dog, Murphy was stolen several weeks ago. After weeks of crying and looking, post on anything and everything, many fliers later I'm resigned to the fact that he is not coming home.
I think they might have come into my life at the right time.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dog's theft. I 'surf' Craigs List every so often and lately have seen a number of posts about stolen dogs. With all the unwanted dogs at the shelters and running loose, I can't understand why someone feels the need to steal one. Hopefully he'll turn up.

Condolences too as to your loss of your friend. I'm glad you were to take her cats in. Zeus is absolutely gorgeous, IMO. His body type (?apple head?) is the type I prefer. Never have been a fan of the 'china doll' -- skinny/anorexic -- body type (?wedge? head).

What kind of lowlife would steal a dog? I'm sorry for your loss I know how hard it is. I hope Murphy was chipped and someday a Vet finds him for you.

Cathy, I expected different 'new Catts', but he is adorable. Its great that you were able to take them and have a living remembrance of your friend. Also very sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. I'll hope that he may still turn up home in the near future.
    Best,
    Tony

Cathy, how kind of you to take in the cats - and what a looker Zeus is!

I'm so sorry to hear about Murphy.
