    O.K., to get this thread back on track and safe for children, here is a photo of the pair of Rufous Hummingbirds that took over a feeder I had outside my cabin in New Mexico this past week. They would not let any other birds anywhere close. I saw Allen's Hummingbirds too, but they were never allowed to land on the feeder for me to get a picture!

    There used to be some near my dad's house in WV that would buzz your head if you were out on the car port for more than 2 min. It's kinda scarry to have these little birds flying that close that fast.

    Hummingbirds Scary??? - Wolf, you aren't living up to your name!! They do love to buzz people. The ones around my feeders will fly right up to my face and complain if the feeders are empty.
