Oh you guys have beautiful friends! If I can get home before dark this week, I want to photograph my great dane, Ceasar. He is a puppy, but is huge. Everyone has seen Murphy, my bird. His photos are around somewhere here in the forum.

    Thanks for the great thread!

    Cheers!

You have a Dane ! what color ?
Here is a funny story , a friend told me he saw my HB riding thru. town with the ugliest woman they had ever seen .
It was Wheeler short for 18 wheeler . He would sit on the seat in the pickup with his feet on the floor , he looked just like Garfield or Scooby Doo ? weighed about 190 lbs. I moved Melody , Harmony and Wheelie here from Ca. will be waiting for pictures . G

Yes! He is huge! He is solid black with a white star on his chest and a couple of white toes on his feet. The fellow we got him from was too lazy to register the litter and will not give me the mother and father's ID numbers so that I can register him. He is beautiful, but at night he is like a ghost. He will be right beside me and I will not know it until my hand is in his mouth or he is raising his paw up to get my attention with a "Whack".

I am hating the time change. It is so dark when I get home from work. I will do my best to get a photograph this weekend. I have not taken any of him since he was a 9-week-old pup. He was born on Jan. 21 of this year.

He loves to play and roll around with me in the yard. When he sees me on the deck, he "talks" to me to get my attention. He just wants to play.

    Cheers!

PS: Gin, that horse is beautiful! My sister had a show horse. She would do barrels and other things and has a wall full of ribbons. Her horse, Prince, is about 20+ years old now. He just hangs out and eats at my parent’s house. The grandkids sometimes ride around on him, but other than that, he lives a very happy life.

Thank you everyone for responding! I loved all of the animals!

Diane - Pit Bulls are not for everyone. I understand peoples fear, but do not have that fear myself. I am actually afraid of small dogs, ex:
Chihuahuas (im not joking). I got Lucy because I do love the breed, same reason I got Zane my rottie. Now my pit is the protecter of the house and family, which is good because my rottie is so relaxed and easy going he will show ANYONE where the goods are hidden. I have to say that these two dogs I trust my life with, as Im sure anyone will say that with their own dogs.

    Again, THANK YOU everyone!

    Tracy

Mitakuye: Yes, August is my avatar "T bone" aka "the bone of T"

I have a lot of experience with dogs, and the only 2 dogs that have ever bitten (so far) me was a buff Cocker Spaniel named "Jenny" and my deceased wacko dog "Nikki" LOL... Figures...

They are full blooded Pomeranian (sp) Davidson is Pinkertons dad. Chopper is unrelated.

We used to have a female but she wasn't getting along with everyone else so some friends said we want one and we offered them her and they jumped at the chance. Her name was Harley... So we used to have Harley (the mom), Davidson (the daddy) and Chopper. Harley and Davidson mated and they had Leeza, Jr and Pinky which we changed to Pinkerton after he was the first to bark LOUDLY. Two really good friends took Leeza (now named Tina) and Jr (still named jr) and they are happy living together.

Anyway hope that isn't too much info LOL
