Couldn't resist. Here are my two fatties... Redward and Thomas.
Redder was once known as "Little Red", he now weighs about 18 lbs. He's very good at playing dead.
Tommy is more buff colored. He has an uncontrollable desire to sit in and/or on anything that may be on the floor/within his reach. Very entertaining.
They are both great. Maybe time for the Friskies Light for Redders???
Redders caption should say "Help, I've fallen over and I can't get up! Could you please bring me my dinner here?" Hah! My parents have a rather 'large' cat too, and when she runs her "hanga danga" gets swishing side to side so much it throws her momentum off!
Thanks for sharing the photos.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah... he does tend to ooze a little when he lays down like that. Red was a little "big-boned" when we got him about 2 years ago. He actually is already on diet cat food and his food intake is carefully measured. We've managed to get him to lose about a pound so far. Being a cat and having the build of a bulldog don't go together too well.
Apparently Tom has added hiding in plastic bags to his repertoire as well.
LOL.. that is a GREAT shot!
I've got a critter I'd live to give away about right now! Came home last night, walked into my bedroom, found the little shit sitting proudly next to my 10 year old specimen red emerald philodendron broken in multiple places in a heap next to the dresser it was on, dirt spread around the room (cream colored carpet, and the plant had been recently watered), and an artist made fired ceramic pot in about 10 pieces. I was so angry I couldn't stand to be look at him so I relegated him to the garage (which was probably not a very good message because he LOVES the garage) for a few hours while I cleaned and salvaged, cursed and moaned, cleaned and salvaged, and cursed some more. The sad thing is, he seemed so proud of his work! Evil I say!
Gin, don't you have a chicken that you said could beat the living daylight out of a cat? Charlie, wasn't it? Would you mind mailing him North for a few weeks, I have someone I like him to meet!
