A colorful array of flowers you have growing, Andrea. Gave up trying to grow sunflowers up at my parents' place -- the squirrels would always bite off the flower heads soon after they started to open. (And that was despite having all sorts of other food sources easily at hand.)

I really like your assortment of wildflowers. Your sunflowers are great also, especially the dark red one.

I grew a row of three different types of sunflowers at the back of my garden for a few years, but haven't planted any the last couple years. I guess I don't need to since they have reseeded themselves and come up like weeds anyway. LOL They attract bees, which I need for my garden and are in very short supply here. The blackbirds hang on the sunflower heads in the fall and pick the seeds out of them.

Very pretty! I just started a few this year. My flower heads are beginning to form on about four of them so far. I just love them and hope they will come up year after year. They are so sunny and pretty. All of your flowers are beautiful! Thanks for sharing...I can't wait to see mine in bloom now.

I love your wild flower garden. Your sunflowers are beautiful. I am only familiar with the Yellow variety. Have never seen the brown or red.
    Thanks for sharing. Good growing.
