    Unhappy Poor Dove...

    I just got my cup of coffee and went to sit in my chair by the window to watch the birds at my feeder. I looked out and saw...hmm... poor dove met one of our resident immature Cooper or Sharp-Shinned Hawks...

    Yeah, I kind of think it's a Coopers Hawk too.
    Thanks, the photos came out a little blurry because I took it from inside my livingroom, I didn't want to open the window and scare it away. It fed for about 1 1/2 hours! When I went out later to see the damage up close there was almost nothing left.

    Great Pict. does not look blurry to me . I don't know what kind it is, looks a lot like the one that was in my chicken house . Glad the dove was not in the picture , or I would have a mess to clean up Have a thing about dead birds . Gin
