Well, Angel, 75 year old eyes saw a coconut instead of a volleyball. I told my wife about it and she laughed till tears rolled down her cheeks, and the next thing I knew she was telling our neighbour over the fence. You should have head the guffaws. I'll try not not to look at my neighbour in the next few days!

I started looking for pictures of the land around here last night and found myself spending a lot of time going down memory lane, seeing my grandchildren as babies, great artsy shots my daughter made of close ups of flowers and insects in the yard and a LOT of family activities. It may take me a while to find the pictures I am looking for! It's a hot (in the summer), cold (in the winter), dry and windy place here, but I see beauty in it too. At least once I got used to it... hehe

I did post some pictures here of the land around our place, btw. Not sure how to link it, but in this section of the forum.

A number of foreigners, mostly Caucasians, come here to our region. None have been kidnapped, despite all the negative press we've been getting. Around 2 Japanese were kidnapped 4 years ago but they were working here. Their workplace was in a very remote area, not a tourist spot. They were successfully rescued.

Zain, you would love it here. There's a very long and very high zipline that traverses all 7 waterfalls and some are much grander than the one in my photo.

Very different from Colorado as well. Most people don't realize that we have at least 2 climates here in Colorado. The Mountains is one climate and the Plains has a different climate. Yes, summer is summer in both, but still different as is in the winter. I live in the plains, though about 1 mile east of the foothills.

This week the plains in the Denver Metro area had 65 degrees F daytime temps, and 35 daytime temps. Lots of sun and some light snow. That is the plains of Colorado during both transition seasons: spring and fall.

I attached a picture of Denver off in the distance from one of my hiking trails. Denver is about 15 miles away as the crow flies.

I really like the design of that wooden bridge in the first picture.
